Welcome to WalkWise Dog Training. By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services
WalkWise Dog Training offers the following services:
Training Walks: One-to-one training sessions with your dog. These sessions are for your dog’s skill development and enrichment to their day. You are not required to be present for these sessions, if you would like to be present it will be in an observer capacity as Jessica works with your dog. These sessions include time spent in your home and in local public spaces depending on your dog’s needs.
In-Home Training Sessions: Personalized training sessions conducted in your home where Jessica will teach you how to train your dog and create a training plan to help you achieve your goals.
Outdoor Training Sessions: Training conducted in public spaces, focusing on handling and training techniques necessary for safely walking your dog. These sessions may include an opportunity to work with a stooge dog but this is not guaranteed.
Socialisation Walks: Walks with Jessica and her dog to provide experience handling your dog around dogs and to give your dog exposure to a calm, neutral dog for their social skill development.
Virtual support via e-mail, WhatsApp or other preferred messenger service: Advice and feedback to support clients through their training journey. Jessica is available for virtual support Mon-Fri between the hours of 10am and 7pm. Responses will be provided as quickly as possible but may not be same-day. Support requested outside of these hours will not be responded to until at least the next working day. This service is included as standard with training walk bookings, as long as it is a regular weekly booking. Other clients may pay for this service as an add-on.
3. User Responsibilities
As a client of WalkWise Dog Training, you agree to:
Follow Training Plans: Adhere to the training plans and instructions provided to see progress in your dog’s behaviour.
Behaviour: Conduct yourself in a respectful manner. Inappropriate or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated and will result in the immediate termination of services.
Responsibility for Behaviour: WalkWise Dog Training is not responsible for your dog’s behaviour unless it is a Training Walk and Jessica is the only handler present with your dog.
4. Account Management
Account Creation and Management: Clients fill out a registration form via the website www.walkwisedogtraining.co.uk. Forms are stored by email and in spreadsheet form, and contact details are stored on password-protected devices with 2 factor authentication.
Account Termination: Clients may request removal of their details from the system at any time. Inappropriate or abusive behaviour will result in removal from the system and cessation of services.
5. Payment Terms
Pricing and Payment Methods: Payment is made via online booking through the website or direct invoice via message or email. All pricing details are available on the website.
Billing and Refunds: Sessions rescheduled more than 48 hours before the start time can be rescheduled for free. Rescheduling within 48 hours may be subject to a refund assessment. No refunds are provided for sessions where inappropriate or abusive behaviour has been displayed.
6. Intellectual Property
Ownership: WalkWise Dog Training retains ownership of all training plans and resources shared with clients. These materials may not be shared with third parties without express written consent from Jessica Broughton Smith.
7. Privacy Policy
Data Collection and Use: User data is collected via the website and messages. It is used solely for the purpose of providing services and creating tailored training plans. Personal data is not shared between clients or with any third parties without express consent from the client. All data is stored on password-protected devices.
8. Dispute Resolution
Resolution Process: Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services will be addressed first through amicable negotiations within 30 days of written notice. If unresolved, disputes will proceed to mediation under UK Law.
9. Limitation of Liability
Liability: There are no specific limitations of liability applicable to the business. WalkWise Dog Training is liable for damages caused by dogs during the training walks only, as the dog is in our sole care. WalkWise is not liable for damages caused by clients’ dogs during training sessions where the owner is present.
10. Amendments
Notification of Changes: Changes to these Terms will be communicated via email or message and through a banner on the website.

12. Specific Legal Requirements
Insurance and Certification: The business is insured by Protectivity with public liability insurance. Jessica Broughton Smith is certified by the Dog Training College.
